Ron D. Ragain, Ph.D. - Partner & Executive Director
Ron received his doctorate in Psychology from George Peabody College of Vanderbilt University in 1977. In addition to serving on the faculties of Stephen F. Austin State University, Belmont College and Iowa State University, he has been a consultant to many different organizations around the world since beginning his consulting career in 1981. Dr. Ragain has hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry having worked in both refineries and on offshore drilling rigs. He has developed and implemented organizational improvement programs in a wide variety of industries including oil & gas exploration, production and refining, oil & gas property management, engineering & construction, oil field services, aircraft maintenance, healthcare, alarm & security systems, retail merchants, restaurants, newspapers and transportation. He specializes in organizational diagnosis, organizational and individual performance improvement, process improvement and total quality management, safety improvement, leadership and supervisory skills development and executive development and coaching. Dr. Ragain has authored many training programs and is co-author of "Performance Management in the Workplace" which has been used to train thousands of managers/supervisors around the world.

Mike N. Allen - Partner & Director of Operations
Mike is a former teacher and coach who led high school teams to ten state championships in football and baseball. He was recognized by Steven Covey as "Facilitator of the Year" in 1997. In 1998, after spending 16 years in the oil and gas industry and reaching the position of Corporate Director of Quality and Training, he brought his fiery and motivational brand of coaching and training to the RAD Group. Many of his class participants call him "Coach" because of his style of training and consulting, and his desire for his clients to "Be Champions." Mike is passionate about Safety in the workplace and has had much success in training and motivating others to change unsafe behaviors and to become Safety Leaders. He understands what it takes to be a successful leader and is credited by many of his clients as the person who helped them make the turn from manager/supervisor to leader. Mike is co-author of several training programs including "Performance Management in the Workplace" which has been used to train thousands of managers/supervisors around the world.

Michael Allen - Director of Business Development
Michael has a diverse background in Leadership, Management, Team-building, Training and Curriculum Development. He spent 11 years coaching football and baseball and teaching High School subjects from varied fields such as Economics, Psychology, Government, and History. In each of his four stops as a coach, the sports programs had fallen on tough times and a culture change was needed. During every stint, the program either broke school records for wins or made the playoffs for the first time in over 10 years by the time he was finished. After leaving public education, Michael came to work for The RAD Group where he manages and directs the Business Development Division and provides training and consulting in the Communications and Safety programs. Michael has become a leader in Safety Leadership, having trained and presented to groups from all over the world. Michael has also written a wide range of curriculum, articles, and blogs dealing with topics like Safety Accountability, Team Building, Behavior-Based Safety, and much more.
Michael holds a BS in Secondary Education and an MS in Management. Michael is also a member of several professional organizations and community outreach programs.
Phillip Ragain - Director of Product Development
Phillip is a former teacher and university facilities manager. His background is in analytic philosophy, with a focus in Applied Ethics and Business Ethics. As a university instructor at Texas Tech University, Phillip developed curricula and taught courses that were engaging, energetic and aimed at helping students personalize the subjects that they studied. With The RAD Group, Phillip uses a research-based approach to developing training that is tailored to individual organizations’ specific situations and needs. The curriculum he develops reveals his passion for education and the carefully deliberate approach to teaching that he has acquired throughout his career. In addition to managing and directing The RAD Group’s Product Development Division, Phillip serves as an organizational assessor, trainer and consultant.
Phillip holds an MA in Analytic Philosophy, and is the author of numerous articles addressing topics from business ethics to effective remote communications.

R.C. “Bobby” Robbins - Business Solutions Consultant
Bobby is a Military Trained Strategist with two Active Duty tours in Iraq as a Platoon Leader and Staff Operations Officer. He continues to serve as a Captain in the Army Reserves. Bobby graduated with two Honors Degrees and a BA in Political Science from Texas A&M University. As a member of the Corps of Cadets and several student organizations, Bobby was recognized with the Commandant’s Leadership Award and the Buck Weirus Spirit Award for Student Life Impact. In the business community, Bobby is an unrelenting advocate for developing and equipping leaders with the resources and strategies necessary to realize personal and organizational goals. With The RAD Group, Bobby provides organizations with the missing link between strategy and implementation by addressing the need to effectively deal with disagreements and the gap between expectations and performance.
In addition to his military leadership, Bobby has practical experience and has driven successful change initiatives in the Residential Construction and Industrial Packaging Industries.
